The faint smell of bacon wafted out when I opened the bag. This was a bacon forward chip, then potato, then cheese. I’m not really sure where the bread or butter (or maybe they used mayonnaise to grill their grilled cheese) was. It did make me wonder - do I really want a potato chip that tastes like bread? Anywho, the bacon taste does fade after a couple chips. And your left with a mild tasting cheese chip. Reminiscent of Ruffles Potato Chips, Cheddar & Sour Cream minus the sour cream. Which makes sense given that Lay’s and Ruffles are siblings in the Frito-Lay company family.
A quick scan of the ingredients. Who knew - there was butter in it. And I was also surprised that the cheese taste was so mild given that there was blue cheese in it. Didn’t know you were eating a grilled blue cheese sandwich, did ya?!

Overall, I would say this tasted more like a loaded baked potato. I just needed some sour cream (well technically, more sour cream because I couldn’t taste it) and green onion…
Glad I tried it: Yes
Would I buy it again: While I do enjoy a bacon cheese baked potato, I will pass
